Greeters: Greeters are the first impression for every guest, and this impression sets the stage for people to be open to life change. Greeters inform newcomers where washrooms, ministries, and the Welcome Booth are located. Total time investment for one year: approx. half an hour before the start of each service. Ushers: Ushers are to receive everyone with a smile, a word of welcome, a handshake, and a bulletin on their way in. In the event of a full service, they are to usher the attendee to an open seat. Total time investment for one year: approx. half an hour before the start of each service, and availability during the service. Camp out: The Chair of the committee is to set up a church wide camp out every second year. Total time investment every second year: approx. 20-30 hours of planning. Special Events Team: The Chair of the committee is to set up special church events (such as church potlucks, celebrations for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.). Total time investment for one year: approx. 10-15 hours. Membership / Welcome Desks: Membership Desk volunteers process debit payments, sign up list registrants, and answer general questions. Welcome Desk volunteers welcome newcomers, give out “Welcome Packages”, and answer general questions. Total time investment for one year: approx. 15 minutes before and half an hour after the end of each service. Coffee Ministry: To create a welcoming atmosphere, we serve coffee, tea, and juice after each service. Total time commitment: Set up takes about half an hour before the service, and clean up takes 30-45 minutes.
