Flourish

Life by the Spirit

Join us in a 10 week journey of studying how the Spirit nourishes within us a life of fruitfulness that goes beyond surviving and coping. It actually can and does, by God’s grace, look like flourishing. Along this journey, we invite you to go deeper in your walk with Jesus through some additional resources. Each week we will look at another dimension for the fruit of the Spirit, following the order and pattern described in Galatians 5:13-26.

Fruit Full: 100 Family Experiences for Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit

What do your kids know about the fruit of the Spirit? Maybe they can rattle off the list: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But do they really understand what the fruits look like in daily life?

John Stott prayed every day the following prayer. Consider praying this prayer as you seek God’s abundant life for you in the season to come.

“Heavenly Father, I pray that I may live this day in your presence and please you more and more. Lord Jesus, I pray that this day I may take up my cross and follow you. Holy Spirit, I pray that this day you will fill me with yourself and cause your fruit to ripen in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Holy, blessed and glorious Trinity, three persons in one God, have mercy upon me.
