August 29 - Cris Harper - Joshua 22-24

Main Idea: Jesus is the ultimate altar for us, a witness of God’s grace and victory.
  1. What (or who) holds the altar places in your life?
  2. How do these false altars get in the way of your worship with Jesus as the ultimate altar for you?
  3. How can you take God's grace deeper into your life this week?

August 22 - Cris Harper - Joshua 20-21

Main Idea: We find restoration and healing by running to Christ as our refuge.
  1. What can we learn from the inheritance given (and not given) to the Levites?
  2. How do the cities of refuge anticipate Jesus?
  3. How do you seek refuge in Jesus?
  4. How can you share this refuge with others?

August 15 - Cris Harper - Joshua 13-19

Main Idea: God does not want any part of your life left unconquered.
  1. How has God provided for you? What is that inheritance?
  2. What parts of your life have not been “conquered”or claimed by the love of Jesus?

August 8 - Cathy Ferchau - Joshua 10:1-15

Main Idea: The battle belongs to God, but we have a part to play.
  1. Joshua was leading a battle, but the battle wasn't really his, nor was the victory.  The battle and the victory belonged to God.  Where are you seeing God's victory in the world today?  Where are you seeing it in your own life?
  2. When Joshua was in trouble, he took it to the Lord.  He prayed in faith and with expectation.  His prayer was big, it was bold, and it aligned with the will of God.  We are told that God listened! (vs. 14)  What big prayers do you need to bring before the Lord?
  3. Where do you see Jesus in this story?  How does it point to Him?

August 1 - Cris Harper - Joshua 9

Main Idea: Live wisely and love with integrity by walking closely with God every day
  1. What are practices you have in place to help you walk closely with God every day?
  2. What are some areas you would like to grow in wisdom and discernment?
  3. When did you have a time following through with a commitment you made? What did you learn from that experience?

July 25 - Cris Harper - Joshua 7

Main Idea: God refuses to allow us to be comfortable with sin
God's grace leads us to confront our disobedience, confess sin in repentance and receive his forgiveness.
  1. What steps do you want to take this to confront sin in your life before God?
  2. How has sin impacted your relationships? How can you seek forgiveness from those around you?
