About the event
Do you want to serve the community, meet some of Bethel’s neighbours, and create new relationships? Bannerman in Action needs your help! For a number of years, Bethel has partnered with the Bannerman Community League (BCL) for a day of working alongside our neighbours on a variety of beautification and service projects.
However, the BCL has invited the church to partner with them in a different way this year. The Bannerman Community Hall (located at 14034 23 St.) is in desperate need of renovation which is estimated to cost $500,000 or more. To raise those funds, a card has been created to promote several different fundraising events. These cards will also advertise community-building activities offered through both the BCL and Bethel Community Church (ex. summer activities such as VBS, PLOT, etc).
What we’re looking for is 20-30 Bethelites to volunteer their time on Saturday, May 25th from 9am-12pm to help…
