< Back Pastor of Outreach and Missions Cathy Ferchau Pastor Cathy has been a part of Bethel for almost twenty years, originally becoming connected through Dove Taekwondo. She and her husband Garry are parents to Annaliese, Katie, and Isabella. Cathy is passionate about prayer, building relationships, and pointing others to Jesus. Outside of work and ministry, her favourite activities include spending time with family and friends, listening to music (and maybe singing along), watching sports, and being in nature with her dog. Cathy holds an M.Div. degree from Kairos University (Sioux Falls, SD)/Taylor Seminary (Edmonton, AB). She is a bi-vocational Pastor who also works as an American Sign Language (ASL)-English Interpreter, a profession she has enjoyed for more than twenty-three years. Bethel Kids Get involved with Bethel Kids! We need lots of adults to share God’s word and show his love to these amazing children of the King. Whether you are a storyteller, activity leader, baby cuddler, security monitor, check-in desk manager, or an extra set of hands to assist a leader, we would love to have you. Bethel Kids Team Sign Up Wiggle Room Our Wiggle room is open to parents with small children who need to get "their wiggles out" while being close to their parents and the service can be watched from that room. Our Wiggle room is located on the left side of the sanctuary next to our kitchen. In Person Worship On Sunday mornings, please check in the back with you kids. We invite families to sit together in worship for the first half of the service, which starts at 10 AM. Halfway through the service we'll invite parents to bring your kids downstairs for a focused time of children's ministry in a big group. Nursery Our nursery is available for your infants and toddlers! When you arrive at church check your kids in at the registration desk, and then bring your children to the nursery for care from our volunteers. GEMS Girls' Club Welcome to GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior). We hope to have a wonderful year together building skills, experiencing God’s love and growing in faith. Come join us for fellowship, Bible study, badge work, crafts and more. GEMS is starting September 22, 2026, and runs alternating Tuesdays, from 7:00-8:30pm. Open to girls in grades 2-9 Register Here Cadets Cadets is a group for boys in grade 2-6. Cadets meets every second Tuesday from 7:00- 8:30pm from October – May. Volunteers across Canada mobilize to increase access to menstrual products and vital health information for women and girls around the world. In October, John Lendein was able to add 350 kits for the Bettesu school, and 50 special kits for any woman that delivers a baby in the clinic to another shipment that was being sent to Bettesu Liberia. All of that was possible because of your great contribution. Our next work bee is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, from 9 am to 12 noon. Please join us for this worthwhile cause. We could use workers with sewing machines and sergers, but we also need help from non-sewers for a variety of tasks: ironing, cutting, adding snaps, measuring and tracing, folding, etc. This request for help is not just for ladies, as we also have men that come out to help. Some of the tasks require a level of strength that unfortunately not all ladies have.
