This Week At Bethel June 19, 2026 This Sunday Church Family News Announcements Community News Calendar Bulletin Archive This Sunday This Sunday, we continue our sermon series through 1 Corinthians, The Mind of Christ. Paul reflects on his own ministry approach, emphasizing simplicity and dependence on the Spirit rather than persuasive rhetoric. True faith rests on God’s power, not human eloquence. The message this Sunday will focus on 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 “A Different Kind of Power” For past messages, subscribe and follow our podcast: discoverbethel.com/podcasts Our Sunday Offerings: BETHEL MINISTRIES AND MISSION : The ministries and programs of Bethel PAKITINASOWIN FUND: is supported and administered by The King’s University and the Micah Centre. Announcements: BETHEL STAFF UPDATE: Over the past 4 years, we have been blessed to have Hilda work with us as our administrator. This position of leadership is incredibly valuable for supporting our administrative staff and coordinating responsibilities among numerous committees at Bethel. Hilda shared with us earlier this year that she would like to step down from the role. After some consideration, we began discerning with Tara Kilkenny, one of our Administrative Assistants, if Tara would be willing to assume the role of Administrator following Hilda’s transition. We’re excited to announce that Tara has accepted this role. Over the next few months, Hilda, Tara and other committees will work together to assist in the transition. This week, we share about this transition as we would like to express our appreciation of Hilda for her service and leadership during the Sunday service on June 7. Please also welcome Tara to this new role, as she adjusts to a new set of responsibilities on our staff team. INSTALLATION OF NEW OFFICE BEARERS: This Sunday we celebrate God’s gift of faithful leadership for his people. We give thanks for the elders and deacons who have served well and have completed their terms of service. Our outgoing office bearers are: Governing Elders: Ivan M Shepherding Elder: Kevin M, Peter R, Jeannie V Deacon: Doug B *As noted in our Congregational meeting last Sunday, Jare O will be extending her term as a Shepherding Elder for another year. We praise God for providing servants to follow in their leadership. The deacons and elders, together with the pastors, are responsible for the leadership of the church. The tasks of elders and deacons call for believers who are Christlike, who are mature in the faith, and who can exercise their gifts with prayer, patience, and humility. This Sunday, we will install the following office bearers: Governing Elder: Kevin V Shepherding Elder: Fred T Deacon: Edos E THE SUMMER INTERNS ARE HERE!
