- Our Beliefs | Bethel Community CRC
Acerca de Our Beliefs We believe that there is one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16, 28:19; John 1:1-3, 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14 We believe that humans bear the image of God; yet, they are corrupted by sin—by both the sinful nature with which they are born and the ongoing sins they commit. Ephesians 2:1-3, 4:22; Titus 3:3 We believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22 We believe that He died an atoning death on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. Romans 3:25; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 10:14; 1 John 2:2, 4:10 We believe that He rose bodily from the grave. Romans 4:25; 1 Corinthians 15:16-20; 1 Peter 1:3-5 We believe that He has ascended to the right hand of God where he rules the world as our Lord and high priest. Matthew 28:18; Acts 1:9-11; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3, 4:14-16 We believe that Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead. Acts 10:42; Acts 17:31 We believe in the resurrection of the body which is a resurrection to eternal life for those who receive God’s offer of salvation in Christ and a resurrection to eternal condemnation for those who refuse it. Matthew 25:1-13; Matthew 25:31-46; Romans 2:12-16; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10; We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone. Romans 3:20; Galatians 3:10-11; Ephesians 2:8-9 We believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. John 14:6; Acts 4:12 We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live a godly life . John 3:5-6; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:11-12 We believe that all who have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are spiritually united as members of His body, the Church. John 10:14-16; Acts 20:28; Ephesians 4:1-6 We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the only rule for faith and life. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21

- 24-7 Prayer | Bethel Community CRC
Sign Up For A Prayer Time 24/7 Prayer started in 1999 with a simple student-led vigil, and now, almost three decades later, thousands of communities take part, and prayer is happening in churches and communities in over half the countries on earth. This year Bethel will be hosting 24/7 Prayer from September 6 until September 13. We will be joining believers across the globe during the Global Week of Prayer. Together, churches in nations around the world will be seeking God for spiritual renewal, praying for their communities, and interceding for every nation—that God's Kingdom would come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What a beautiful reminder that while we serve in different places, we are one Church, united before one King. Whether you've prayed for an hour before or not, I encourage you to step into this opportunity. Time spent in God's presence has a way of renewing our hearts, aligning us with His purposes, and reminding us that the work of His Kingdom begins in prayer. Many who have participated before have been surprised by how quickly the hour passes—and how reluctant they are to leave. You're welcome to sign up to pray at Bethel or from home. The church will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m . We will also gather for a special Worship and Prayer Evening on Wednesday from 7:00–9:00 p.m. , and it would be a joy to worship and pray alongside you. If you're able, please consider taking an hour and adding your voice to this global chorus of prayer. Together, let's ask God to move powerfully in our churches, our city, our nation, and throughout the world.
