    < Back Lead Pastor Cris Harper Pastor Cris joined Bethel Community Church in February of 2020. He is married to Christy and has two young children, Ruth and Gabe. Cris enjoys cooking, keeping up with basketball and soccer through the year, and will talk all things Star Wars with whoever cares to listen. Cris holds an M.Div. degree from Beeson Divinity School (Birmingham, AL). Prior to coming to Bethel, he worked as a Hospital Chaplain at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, offering pastoral support to intensive care units and the Emergency Department.     < Back Pastor of Outreach and Missions Cathy Ferchau Pastor Cathy has been a part of Bethel for almost twenty years, originally becoming connected through Dove Taekwondo. She and her husband Garry are parents to Annaliese, Katie, and Isabella. Cathy is passionate about prayer, building relationships, and pointing others to Jesus. Outside of work and ministry, her favourite activities include spending time with family and friends, listening to music (and maybe singing along), watching sports, and being in nature with her dog. Cathy holds an M.Div. degree from Kairos University (Sioux Falls, SD)/Taylor Seminary (Edmonton, AB). She is a bi-vocational Pastor who also works as an American Sign Language (ASL)-English Interpreter, a profession she has enjoyed for more than twenty-three years.
