- Flourish | Bethel Community CRC
Flourish Life By The Spirit < Back Join us in a 10-week journey of studying how the Spirit nourishes within us a life of fruitfulness that goes beyond surviving and coping. It actually can and does, by God’s grace, look like flourishing. Along this journey, we invite you to go deeper in your walk with Jesus through some additional resources. Each week we will look at another dimension for the fruit of the Spirit, following the order and pattern described in Galatians 5:13-26. For Personal Devotion and Small Groups: Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit - Growing In Christlikeness - By Christopher Wright Good and Beautiful and Kind: Becoming Whole in a Fractured World by Rich Villodas For Families at Home On Sundays, Bethel Kids will be using curriculum based on the book "Fruit Full: 100 Family Experiences for Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit" What do your kids know about the fruit of the Spirit? Maybe they can rattle off the list: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But do they really understand what the fruits look like in daily life? John Stott prayed every day the following prayer. Consider praying this prayer as you seek God’s abundant life for you in the season to come. “Heavenly Father, I pray that I may live this day in your presence and please you more and more. Lord Jesus, I pray that this day I may take up my cross and follow you. Holy Spirit, I pray that this day you will fill me with yourself and cause your fruit to ripen in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Holy, blessed and glorious Trinity, three persons in one God, have mercy upon me.

- 40 Days of Belonging | Bethel Community CRC
40 Days of Belonging This Spring we want to ask an important question as a church: What does it mean to belong to Bethel? We will be reflecting on our key values which shapes who God has called us to become as a church family and a “house of the Lord” (which is what Bethel means). If this is the kind of house we’re supposed to be, we want to re-affirm what this means for every person at Bethel. We want this conversation in our church to flow through everything we do. Every week we will send out resources and discussion guides for each value. Every Sunday we will focus on another value that draws us together as a family through our sermon series, House of Belonging. We’d love for you to journey with us as we say together as members of one body: You belong here. How Do I Get Involved?
