  • Small Groups | Bethel Community CRC

Small Groups The journey is better when we do life together. At Bethel Church, we believe that life is meant to be lived together. We are a community committed to growing together in our faith in Jesus Christ, to supporting one another in special times of need, and to welcoming others who want to embark on the journey of faith. In small groups we encourage one another, ask questions, gain insight from each other, and we share joys and sorrow. In short, small groups is our way of doing life together. For meetings, groups usually gather in one another's homes on a rotating basis. On a typical evening they will enjoy friendly conversation over refreshments, have a Bible study, share needs and concerns, and pray for one another. Groups have even been known to go on vacation together! The possibilities are as unlimited as the group's imagination. A big goal of small groups is simply to be there for one another through the good times and the hard times. That can include anything from lending a listening ear, to bringing meals or providing rides in a time of need. Sign up here for a small group! *For details and questions about Bethel Small Groups, please contact Pastor Wendy Email: wendy@discoverbethel.com

  • Give V2 | Bethel Community CRC

Giving at Bethel Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV Give Now Contact Us Ways to Give Why Give Giving FAQ's Tithing was introduced early in the bible when God asked his people to return to Him their first fruits of the harvest and the topic weaves throughout the bible. Why would God ask this of us? Is it because he needs the money? No, after all, he owns it all. Yet, the concept of money is the most referenced subject in scripture. So why all the emphasis over money? Well, it’s likely because God understands how we’re wired (he did create us after all) and knows our hearts are very intertwined with our finances and that many people trust in wealth more than in Him. What God desires is that we trust Him with all areas of our life, including our finances. Online E-Transfer In-Person Automatic Withdrawal Donate once or on a recurring basis via the Pushpay service.
