- 40 Days of Belonging | Bethel Community CRC
40 Days of Belonging This Spring we want to ask an important question as a church: What does it mean to belong to Bethel? We will be reflecting on our key values which shapes who God has called us to become as a church family and a “house of the Lord” (which is what Bethel means). If this is the kind of house we’re supposed to be, we want to re-affirm what this means for every person at Bethel. We want this conversation in our church to flow through everything we do. Every week we will send out resources and discussion guides for each value. Every Sunday we will focus on another value that draws us together as a family through our sermon series, House of Belonging. We’d love for you to journey with us as we say together as members of one body: You belong here. How Do I Get Involved? Sign up for a discussion group here Engage and reflect in your regular community group or small group. Weekly Discussion Guides New discussion guides here every week. Habits of the Church Based on Acts 2:42 < Back Resources for Habits of the Church Series Series summary : The book of Acts gives us a picture of a church alive with purpose, passion, and power. In Acts 2:42-47, we see six habits that shaped the early believers and fueled their impact: devotion to God’s Word, life-giving fellowship, the breaking of bread, and powerful prayer. These were not occasional activities but consistent rhythms that formed a Spirit-filled community and made the gospel visible to the world. In this series, we’ll discover how these same habits can shape us today into a church that reflects Christ and changes lives.
